Draft — last updated June 2026

Self-host: your notes are sent only to the server you configure. There is no default or hidden cloud endpoint, and the plugin collects no telemetry.

Transport is protected with TLS (wss:// / https://). Your vault token travels in the WebSocket query and as an HTTP Bearer header.

Notabeam Cloud (coming soon) will have its own privacy policy published here before launch, covering encryption, retention, and what — if anything — is shared with AI providers when you opt in.

The plugin has no self-update mechanism; updates ship only through the Obsidian Community Plugins catalog.
