FAQ
Will it lose my notes?
No. Deletions go to the trash, divergent edits become conflict copies, and offline changes catch up on reconnect — nothing is silently lost.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — desktop and Android. The plugin is cross-platform and uses no desktop-only APIs.
Is my data private?
Self-host means data goes only to the server you configure. No default cloud endpoint, no telemetry.
Do I need a server?
For now, yes — self-host it for free. A managed Notabeam Cloud is coming soon for those who'd rather not.
